To make data backup on Android devices more secure, Google is about to integrate its app into the mobile operating system. Although a good start for data management, Google One made the service public without any fuss.

Google One's backup helps improve the backup system currently in use. Backups can be used even if you don't have an account with Google One.

Backup helps store data, messages, call history, contacts, WiFi networks, photos and videos in the app. Data can be stored as you wish.

You can choose which data to store and which not. Launched three years ago, Google One is the company's integrated backup system, with both a mobile app and a website available.

It initially offers up to 15 GB of free storage. For more storage, users can purchase a minimum of 100 GB and a maximum of 30 terabytes of storage. If you pixel two or three, high resolution photos and videos can be used for up to three years.

Since last year, users have been able to store their MMS messages. The backup feature, which can be used without a Google Account, is likely to soon replace the current Android backup option.

It stores all the data in Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos in one place. You can manage the data in these different apps from Google One.

How to activate backup in Google One?

Download the Google One app on your mobile to use Google One's backup feature

Then go to 'Settings' and click on 'Manage Backup Settings' option

There you are given three options; Device data, multimedia messages and photos and videos. You can activate the backup service by choosing which of these three options is the data you need.

In the meantime, if the Install App, Update App, and Change Your Settings pop up, follow the on-screen

 instructions.
